"Don't sweat the petty things and never pet the sweaty things"

I made this card for wonderful friend who is going to be running in her first 5k this weekend.  She is the kind of friend you hope to be.  What an inspiration for the rest of us and such a blessing to all those around her.
I used Dustin Pike’s wonderfully funny Monkey.  The background paper is from “The Animal Crackers Stack”.   And ribbon from a contest I won from “World Card Making Day” by Bazzill Basics.
     Hope you like it.

Dustin Pike's Challenge

Dustin has a challenge - Hop To it!  I am entering my Carrot Cake.  I had so much fun making it.  This is my first attempt and I think it came out pretty good.  The pictures don’t show the glitter work as well as I would have liked but all in all I am pretty happy.
I used Dustin’s cute bunny and carrot.  I did add the Happy Easter to his little pot.  I used Martha Stewart punches for the icing both gooey and not with stickles stardust glitter.  The free template for the cake came from wrapcandy.com The Bunny was cut out with Nestabilities classic scallop ovals. I used a straw covered with an orange pipe cleaner for the center piece and to hold up the bunny.  I hope everyone enjoys it.  Leave me a comment and let me know.   Make sure you go over and visit Dustin’s blog at dustinpike.blogspot.com he has wonderful images.

Baby Cards

I had two births to make cards for.  One a girl and the other you guessed it a boy.  Found this image at clipartforfree.blogspot, loved it so I used it twice.  I will be sending them out tomorrow in the mail so I thought I would upload them to the site now.  Have a great day!
